Our story
A Merced shop that treats you like family
Garcia's Tires & Wheels has built its name on being the shop Merced calls when nobody else is open. Whether it's a Sunday flat or a holiday blowout, our team is on hand with options that fit your budget and your schedule.
We believe in showing, not just telling: when a customer's brakes or tires need work, we bring out the worn part and walk them through exactly what's happening and why. No guesswork, no upselling, just a clear look at what your vehicle needs.
Most jobs move quicker than customers expect. What looks like an all-day repair often turns into a 45-minute stop, and simple fixes can be done in under ten minutes — all without cutting corners on quality or care.
- Open 7 days a week, including Sundays and holidays
- Shows you the worn part before doing the work
- Fast turnaround, often under an hour
- Options to fit a range of budgets
What customers say
“Had to get my brakes changed in a pinch. Drove here from LA and my brakes started grinding. Called them up Saturday morning and they were able to give me a estimate and schedule me in asap. They were quick and super friendly. Showed me which brakes were grinding and even brought the defective pad. Very transparent and honest. I was in and out in less than an hour. Definitely recommend.”
“Merced probably has 50 tire shops, but do you know which one is open on Sundays and holidays like Labor Day when I really need a tire fixed? Garcia's performance tire and wheels is! Very dependable.”
“There is so much GOOD at this shop. I was in dire need of new tires, so my dad brought me here. As soon as we parked a gentleman came out and greeted us. He looked at my tires and suggested options within my budget... What I thought was going to be a couple of hours was just a 45 minute trip, in and out. My total was absolutely affordable and well within my budget. They were so kind, professional and patient.”
